Amol Sahasrabudhe

Amol Sahasrabudhe is a seasoned investment risk management and portfolio construction specialist with over 22 years of experience building asset management products in the multi-portfolio and multi-strategy space. He has strong expertise in asset classes, including equities, macro, credit, and quantitative strategies.

As the co-founder of the AB Arya Partners fund at AllianceBernstein, Amol served as the SBU's Chief Risk Officer. During his time at AB, Amol planned multi-year risk strategies for Arya Partners and other systems within Arya, reducing the firm's internal and external risk by establishing protocols for recruitment, defining strategy mandates for investments, and talent development.

Amol has been deeply involved in manager selection, allocation, and technology development for asset and operations management. He has also guided Arya's development of complex strategies to maximize returns and reduce exposures, developing frameworks to gauge qualitative and quantitative inputs to finalize optimal investment recommendations.

Before joining AB, Amol served in the same capacity at Visium Asset Management, where he helped grow equity funds into billions of dollars. He developed investment strategies, helped build risk management protocols into portfolios, and established internal processes to streamline and improve operations. At Visium, his additional responsibilities involved guiding investments to alpha and developing analytical strategies to measure alpha decay.

Sahasrabudhe's extensive portfolio management experience also includes managing portfolio construction and risk at Goldman Sachs, Sandell Asset Management, Caxton Associates, and Hapoalim Securities, USA.
With multiple degrees and high-level certificates, Amol combines academic rigor with real-world experience and high-level investment acumen. Throughout his career, he has maintained strong relationships with investors in foundations, pensions, and private wealth management.
